A taboo is a big word. We don’t want it to be heavy or becoming extreme in the way we talk about it. At Tabu, we see little taboos lightly, and it hints towards addressing elephants in the room with a smile and a bit of humor. Humor plays an important role if we invite others to entertain the thoughts we have. Humor done well is not aggressive, but more disarming, relaxing making common ground.
Tabu asks to see and find the deeper funny layers that go with the struggles of building something from the ground up. It makes the journey much more pleasant and interesting. During long hours of work or testing other’s feeling about building the real thing; an ethical social media platform. That sounds very dull, and many responses were ‘What is ethical’?
